I ordered and paid for an A/C online Sunday afternoon. I received a friendly phone call within the hour asking if I could accept delivery tomorrow. The unit turned up at 10am Monday morning, 20 hours after a weekend order. The electronic invoice followed soon after. Many thanks to Appliance Central and Allied Express. I will definately deal with you in the future.

I went firstly to an appliance store in Brisbane I have used in the past to give them the opportunity to at least forego the delivery fee - their price on the washing machine was still $25 more than yours.  They got back to say that particular model was out of stock.  This was Monday the 24th Sept and funnily enough they still had the same unit advertised on their website on Friday 28th Sept.  SO I came back to you guys and could not be happier.  From Sydney to Brisbane - no delivery fee - ordered Monday, arrived Friday at noon.  Fantastic service, especially on the phone - could not be more helpful.  Will recommend to anyone and everyone I know and will most certainly shop with you guys again when the need arises.

After getting a Fujitsu air con in July from a retailer at a good price through the Senior Shopper service  and being very happy with the aircon, yesterday I decided to get another one when I had learnt that Fujitsu had extended their $200 cash back offer by another month.

This time, I chose to see what prices were available online and Appliance Central were by far the cheapest in Australia on the model that I wanted. As a benchmark comparison, they would also have been slightly cheaper on the one that I bought in July  through the Senior Shopper service.  Dealing with an unknown online retailer always involves a bit of uncertainty as even the smallest backyarder can have a very corporate looking website. Nonetheless, I took the plunge and placed my order, paying with my Mastercard.

After placing the order online, I receive the expected acknowledgement email but was then pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from a nice young man at Appliance Central who called to confirm my delivery address and advised that the air-conditioner would be shipped yesterday afternoon. That was an excellent piece of post sale reassurance that all was good.

Then I received an email with the consignment number and details on how to track the delivery progress of my air-conditioner plus details on how to claim the Fujitsu cash back offer, plus pdf copies of my tax invoice and payment transaction record, both of which are necessary to have to claim the factory rebate.  It turns out that Appliance Central is the internet retailing arm of a well known nationally branded "bricks and mortar" franchised retail shop operating out of western Sydney so that was even more reassuring to see because it means that I am not dealing with a so called "grey market" online retailer with funny warranty arrangements.

On checking the Allied Express site with my consignment number and postcode, it showed later in the day that  that my air-conditioner had been picked up and would be delivered on Friday, ie tomorrow.  However, it was actually delivered to my Brisbane house at 4.45 pm this afternoon after my having ordered it on line from Sydney at 2.38 pm yesterday.

How good is that?!!!

Based on that end-to-end customer experience, I would highly recommend these guys.  They deserve to prosper when they offer service and prices like that.

Highly recommended online retailer with excellent communication, they even rang to keep me in the loop and check delivery details were correct.  I had planned to use Union shopper and had to get some quotes for my fujitsu A/C.  The union shopper rang back to say they couldn't beat it your price.  With free delivery it was even more of a steal!  I can't believe I was able to get the latest model at the same price as last years- I almost feel guilty about what a good deal I got.  

I ordered it Friday, delivered Monday.  Couldn't be happier and will be checking you guys out for any future appliance needs. :-)

I would like to say that my experiance with apliance central was fantastic and the prices are very good and i should no as i have done a bit of research before my purchase. I dealt with peter via email and phone and he was very helpfull and aswered all my questions very quickly. I asked him his recommendation on a couple of air cons that i was thinking about purchasing and he was very helpfull in making my decision easy. Once i made my purchase i recieved my air con in a few days and was informed when it was sent and when to expect it. He also made a call to make sure i had recieved it and also if i was happy with it which i am thanks again peter.

I found the Appliance Central Web Site when looking for a Panasonic Air
Conditioner. The price was great & the order placed, great follow up
service from Peter & the team as to order confirmation, convenient

I found the Appliance Central Web Site while looking for a Fujitsu Air Conditioner. I was looking at purchasing a cheaper model, but then I was checking Prices of the better more expensive model - and found it for the same price at this shop. Anyway, I searched for a long time for a Review of this Site but to no avail. The price was so good that I had to just give them a go, particularly as they also support PayPal. I completed the purchase at 9:00 PM, got the usual confirm emails etc, and then got 2 phone calls the next day to check delivery times that would be suitable etc. The Air Conditioner was delivered (in perfect condition cartons) as arranged the next day, some 17 hours after purchase. Additionally, I had a follow up call from Peter to ensure that I received my purchase as promised. In Summary, unbelievable price and service which is why I felt I must write this review (as it seems this is a new Business, and no reviews existed). Please buy from Appliance Central, they are the best !
